A 13-year-old homeless boy whose photos are featured at a West Seattle gallery received a special surprise on Saturday.
Trent Fillmore and other residents of the Nickelsville homeless encampment were given cameras and asked to photograph animals for a show at the "Wind Unwind Gallery." On Saturday, Trent received $50 for selling one of his photos.
And an anonymous KING 5 viewer who saw Trent's story last week donated a new digital camera so Trent can continue his photography skills.
"Well, if I ever see the guy, thank you, and also, this is awesome, and thank you bro, because now I'm definitely going to be using this a lot,” said Trent.
And another surprise, tucked inside the camera box, was a $100 bill.
