A couple of quick-thinking neighbors helped save a man's life after a hotel caught fire Sunday morning in Tukwila.
It happened at the Riverside Residences on Tukwila International Boulevard near the intersection with South 112th Street.
People living there say they saw thick black smoke billowing through one of the hallways at the back of the building.
One man said he heard someone yelling that a disabled man was trapped in one of the units, so he jumped into action.
"We got through the black smoke and got to his room... tried to kick his door in... didn't have no luck with that. Mike came through the window. At that point, we were both inside the unit, pulling the guy, the gentleman out the back, through the window and thank God... .saved his life,” said James Eaton.
There's no word on what caused the fire or how much damage was done.
