On Monday, friends will say goodbye to a 12-year-old boy who died in a tragic accident in his back yard

It happened on the zipline behind his family's home near Redmond on Wednesday.

The King County Sheriff's Office says Jackson Roos was strangled when his bicycle helmet strap got caught on a safety line.

Children are invited to a youth memorial for Jackson on Monday at 5:15 p.m. at Hartman Park on Northeast 104th Street in Redmond.

Participants are asked to bring candles to light during the memorial in the park's four upper fields.
