Man shot outside Everett elementary school

EVERETT - Everett Police responded to a shooting outside Horizon Elementary School around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Officers say that a group of teens were playing basketball when another group of males in their late teens came to the court. The two groups started arguing before the fight turned physical.  One of the teens from the original group playing basketball was shot.  
 
Medics took the shooting victim to Providence Regional Medical Center. His condition is unknown.
 
The group of late-teens had left the area and Everett Police officers immediately began searching for the gunman.   Police are looking for someone in their late teens, wearing a blue T- shirt and jeans.
 
With the help of the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office helicopter, several teens possibly associated with the shooting were located and questioned.
 
During the search, a police K-9 found a gun in a nearby apartment complex.  Officers don't know if this was the gun used in the assault.
 
No arrest have been made.
