This is why I don't go to any place where a lot of idiots hang out. Especially after dark. Funny thing is I'm a tough guy. But, before I'm a tough guy, I'm a clever guy also. When I hang out at Downtown with my girlfriend in the evening, we hang out at Pacific Place and Nordstrom only. Those two places have everything we want to buy, eat, and drink, and it's pretty safe.

It really bothers me that they haven't even found any kind of leads or suspects for this killing. As someone who lives very close to the scene of the crime (I'm surprised I didn't hear the shots being fired), this poses a serious danger for everyone who lives in my building, ESPECIALLY if the shooter is still running free, and we have no idea what their motive is. I at least would like to know if it was a random act of violence, a retaliation/gang-related incident, or even an accident. The victim's family deserves to know, too. It's upsetting to know that things like this continue to happen in our community without real consequences.

Yes this is NEWS! If the report read, young white male shot while getting out of his car in Ballard you would think it is news. Have some sort of respect for human kind! Don't act like there hasn't ever been crime and illegal actions somewhere in your family!
