KENT, Wash. – A man was killed in an industrial accident at a Boeing plant Wednesday afternoon.

City of Kent spokesman, Capt. Kyle Ohashi, says firefighters from Kent and Tukwila responded to the Kent Boeing plant at about 2 p.m. Investigators say the man died due to a piece of machinery.

Further details from police were not immediately available other than the man was authorized to be in the area and to use the machinery.

Boeing says there is no reason to suspect foul play.

Kent police are investigating.

My condolences to his family and his co-workers. What a horrible thing for them to witness.
