Seattle police are searching for a male suspect after another man was stabbed in downtown Seattle Monday afternoon.
The incident happened just before 4:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of 3rd Avenue, near the McDonald's.
Police say a man in his 30s was stabbed multiple times in the torso. Medics arrived on the scene and the victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
The suspect, who remains at large, is described as a thin black male with medium skin, 20 to 25 years old, 5'9″ tall, and last seen wearing a black baseball hat with red insignia, a red shirt, brown hooded sweater with block lettering and black pants.
Police initially tweeted the incident does not appear to be random and that the victim knew the suspect.
Police continue their investigation at the scene; drivers should expect traffic delays in the area.
