(KING5.com is providing minute-by-minute coverage of the procession and memorial for four Lakewood officers who lost their lives on Nov. 29. - This is Part 2, which includes the memorial service itself. If you want to see Part 1, click here.)

5:18 p.m. - The service is concluded. With that, we are ending this minute-by-minute timeline. Please stay with KING 5 News and KING5.com for the latest on the investigation into the Lakewood police killings.

5:16 p.m. - Officers are being excused from the service.

5:09 p.m. - The families are leaving the viewing area.

5:03 p.m. - The caskets are being removed from viewing area.

4:58 p.m. - The color guard is removing the flags.

4:52 p.m. - The final radio call is being made, with the words "Gone but not forgotten" finishing each call.

4:42 p.m. - The American flags draped over the caskets are now being removed and folded to be presented to the families. The flag is folded into a triangle, with only blue and three stars showing. The detail takes great pains to make sure it is presented properly.

4:36 p.m. - A 21 bell salute is being played, followed by Taps.

4:33 p.m. - A bagpipe plays "Amazing Grace."

4:31 p.m. - The honor guard is being ordered back to the viewing area.

3:45 p.m. - A memorial video is now being played. The video includes an image of Seattle police officer Tim Brenton.

3:41 p.m. - Austin Richards says his father "never changed. He was born with a kind heart, courage and the drive to do what's right."

3:39 p.m. - The son and daughter of Ofc. Greg Richards are speaking about their father.

3:37 p.m. - Ronda LeFrancois, sister of Ofc. Ronald Owens, thanked police and firefighters. She also offered condolences to the family and fellow officers of Seattle police officer Timothy Brenton, who was murdered on Oct. 31.

3:31 p.m. - Pamella Battersby, a friend of Ofc. Tina Griswold, is speaking on behalf of Griswold's husband. Battersby says Griswold was tough. According to an officer at Griswold's former agency, her co-workers would say the easiest way to break up a bar fight is to throw Tina into the middle of it.

3:27 p.m. - Lakewood Police Asst. Chief Michael Zaro is now speaking about Renninger. He spoke about how he always looked for Renninger's nod of approval.

3:23 p.m. - Villa is describing Renninger as a "cop's cop" and a "family man."

There is one thing that nobody is willing to discuss regarding this situation... "The reason why police officers are under attack and being murdered in the first place." King County and surrounding areas are widely known for "abuse of power." There is clearly a double standard in regards to how men (especially minorities) are treated in comparison to how women are treated on domestic violence calls. I've seen black men arrested and held for up to 30 days when there were eye-witnesses begging to testify for immediate release of the guy(s) involved. Later all charges were dismissed. I've also seen police arrive at a scene and a man had a broken arm after his girlfriend attacked him with a walking cane. The woman was not arrested. (this happened at Bayview Tower on 4th Avenue in Seattle) Everyone is outraged that 5 officers have been murdered, but nobody cared when innocent guys were being arrested and humiliated, only to have all charges dismissed. Federal Way Police Department mainly.

carlaconstantine--are you serious? Five officers being murdered IS more outrageous than "innocent" guys being arrested and humiliated! Get some compassion!

To carlconstantine: It's true there are bad police officers out there, but I strongly believe the good far outweigh the bad. Keep in mind the latest killer also wanted to kill school children and random citizens in an intersection. This was an attack on the community as a whole. My heart aches for the families and I'm so thankful for the brave people who are willing to put their lives on the line for me and my family.

At least the "innocent" guys being arrested and humiliated get to go home to their families. And no reason...NO REASON...should ever EVER be enough to walk into a public place and gun down 4 human beings who are just getting ready for work, no matter what the occupation. None!

I have three family members of my family, all RCMP, attending the services. I am somewhat disappointed in the news coverage of reporting police forces from other countries attending. Bless the fallen and their families.

Police Officer's Prayer to St. Michael Saint Michael, heaven's glorious commissioner of police, who once so neatly and successfully cleared God's premises of all its undesirables, look with kindly and professional eyes on your earthly force. Give us cool heads, stout hearts, and uncanny flair for investigation and wise judgement. Make us the terror of burglars, the friend of children and law-abiding citizens, kind to strangers, polite to bores, strict with law-breakers and impervious to temptations. You know, Saint Michael, from your own experiences with the devil that the police officer's lot on earth is not always a happy one; but your sense of duty that so pleased God, your hard knocks that so surprised the devil, and your angelic self-control give us inspiration. And when we lay down our night sticks, enroll us in your heavenly force, where we will be as proud to guard the throne of God as we have been to guard the city of all the people. Amen.

For God's sake, will you news reporters and talking heads show some repect and just SHUT UP? Your endless blathering and self-important prattling during the procession and services are a great distraction and show a greater sense running your mouth than of showing respect to our fallen officers. Kudos to the officer who tried to get you to quiet down before the officers caskets were moved into the Dome. Too bad you couldn't stay quiet for at least a few minutes - shame on you.

How dare anyone say our police force is abusive? Those so called mistreated guys usually initiate the assault, be it verbal or physical, I do admit not every officer does keep their cool. I worked for the defense for 19 years and not once has anyone but the men in blue have come to my aid if needed. No human deserves to be murdered like the four Lakewood officers and the seattle officer were.

There is too much negatism in today's world. It occured to me that perhaps so many have turned out and looked for ways to pay their respect, is because we feel so helpless in a world gone to war. It seems we can do nothing about it. In some small way people are doing what they can. I applaud the lady who made the bracelets; those who are using this as a teaching moment for their children, those who are braving the cold as I sit in my office watching in comfort. My hat is off to the officers whether I like them or not, they do have a job to do and they do it because they can.

May God Bless those that are in our Country (USA) to provide safety to all of the citizens, in my own State of Washington. Although I do not know them personally, it is very emotional to understand how someone could be so mentally ill to take the life of these four wonderful service men and women. I hope that their families can grieve and find a way to move on throughout the days and find closure for all of this horrific event. May we find in our communities that there is more love and understanding and opening of our arms and to say "thank you for protecting me". This to me as an American is a privilege and I am proud to be an American. Thank you to our Police, Fire, EMT, all Servicemen and women, may God be with all of you. D. Helm.

A Part Of America Died Somebody killed a policeman today And a part of America died... A piece of our country he swore to protect Will be buried with him at his side. The beat that he walked was a battlefield, too, Just as if he had gone off to war; Though the flag of our nation won't fly at half-mast To his name they will add a gold star. The suspect that shot him will stand up in court With counsel demanding his rights, While a young widowed mother must work for her kids And spend many long, lonely nights. Yes, somebody killed a policeman today... Maybe in your town or mine, While we slept in comfort behind our locked doors A cop put his life on the line. Now his ghost walks the beat on a dark city street, And he stands at each new rookie's side; He answered the call... of himself gave his all, And a part of America died... ~~Author Unknown~~

I am sooo very sure that the producers tell the anchors to "fill" with stupid, inane, insipid comments during quiet moments. Example - when the caskets were being moved to the Dome, one of the anchors asked about the "special way" the flags were going to be folded "with the blue side out...." No respect.

I have to say, if I was the Brenton family, I would feel a little resentful (even though they would never in a million years admit it). Why is it that society makes decisions about whose life is more important, depending on the circumstances? Why wouldn't every fallen police officer receive the excessive pomp and circumstance and coverage that these four did? Just like the 9/11 tragedy. Yes, it's a tragedy for all families involved, but no more tragic than anyone else who died on 9/11, but didn't happen to be in the Towers.

silverado used a much nicer word than one I would like to use for both carlconstantine and justcommenting. How dare the both of you show any sign of disrespect on a day like today. It's men and women who put on that uniform in law enforcement AND military that even allow you to have such an insensitive and ignorant opinion. Show some dignity for yourselves and for the rest of us who have to live with people like you on a daily basis. -PROUD daughter of an officer

Justcommenting--actually most upfront costs were paid by Costco and Cisco. Subsequent money was raised through various local and national businesses (Ivers--$28,000, Papa Johns--still counting, local embroidery place--$21,000). So, if we are paying it isn't much. But, while I do think taxes in this state are outrageous, I don't mind paying to memorialize the fallen. I have many police officers in my family, including one who was killed earlier this year in California and the state did something very similar for him and his fellow police officers who were killed that day. At some point, we need to stop complaining about EVERYTHING, if not for yourself, for these families. JMHO
