FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Federal Way police say a man and woman are dead in an apparent murder-suicide.

Police spokesman Ofc. Ray Bunk says officers responded to a call of a shooting at 3:34 p.m. Thursday in a trailer home at 32820 20th Avenue South.

A man and a woman, both in their 80's were found dead. Police were notified of the incident after an adult family member had discovered the bodies.

Homicide detectives said there are clearly no other suspects.

Neighbors said the wife may have been having health problems. She apparently lived at an assisted-living facility and was home for a visit.

This sounds like a couple who didn't want the horrific hassle and expense of paying doctors for "assisted suicide." The legal tangles and huge cost paid to the medical industrial complex was probably too much for an old couple in a trailer. So they did it on the cheap. Shame on the Legislature for making to onerous, and so profitable for the AMA. .

Hmph, sociopaths (or genetic aberrations) like this lmfao, spend all of their waking hours, trolling sites, leaving tasteless comments on tragedies like this, only for the sole purpose of getting a rise out of people like us. That's because lmfao doesn't have a real life at all, as with any and all sociopaths, all they can do is PRETEND to be alive... it's rather pathetic and sad, to tell the truth. As for what happened, all I can say is; My condolences to all concerned.

It is sad... just consider we don't hear about the many suicides in a day! There are too many happening right now for them to report all of them.

No one knows the details.. For all we know this is a very sweet story. Husband watches the wife suffering, probably doesn't have the quality of life anymore, perhaps has a loss of memory or extreme pain. Spent a lifetime of happiness with her and knows that she didn't want to die alone, in a curtained off room with another suffering room and would rather spend her last minutes with her love..

My best advice in how to deal with Imfao, is to ignore him or her. They are only doing it to get a reaction. If we ignore them, maybe they will go away. :) Yes, this is so sad. There was an elderly couple I spoke to once that I think of now. They were both in their 70's. He had terminal cancer. The comment that his wife made was why couldn't they just both go off the road and crash so they could die together. I use to not understand this way of thinking but as I get older ,too, I start to. It is sad to spend your whole life with someone then have to think of life without them. It's more than some people can handle young, let alone when they are elderly.

I knew this couple. They were very sweet and loved each other a lot. I know that whatever he did, it was with only good intentions. He visited her everyday when she was sick and barely left her side. I remember when it was the anniversary of 'It's a Wonderful Life,' and we watched it together and ate popcorn and laughed. She was sweet and asked me for butter pecan ice cream every time I saw her. Rest in peace to both of you.
