Highway 2 was closed for hours Saturday after trees fell across the road. The back-up stretched for about three miles while WSDOT and Snohomish PUD cleared the road.
A power line still dangled low while branches and limbs from the trees littered the road.
No one was injured.
Kitrena Warren waited for two hours at a burger stand.
"Traffic was not moving, and I didn't want to get stuck with no restroom,” she said.
PUD had to shut the power off before clean-up could begin. It took about five hours for crews to clean up the mess.
