PUYALLUP, Wash. - Troopers said alcohol may have been a factor in a rollover crash involving five teenage girls in Puyallup early Thursday morning.
It happened around 3:15 a.m. on River Road at 50th Avenue E. The car went over an embankment
"We did learn that alcohol was perhaps involved in this collision and the driver was 17, so that is not a good thing," said Sgt. Ray Schierhoff with WSP.
River Road was shut down for a brief time during the investigation. The driver could face serious charges.
All of girls were wearing seatbelts.
Several of the teens had injuries like bruises and broken bones. They were taken to area hospitals.
