WOODINVILLE, Wash. - Could a Woodinville high school student be the future Bill Gates? Fifteen-year-old Andrew Munsell's computer talent is already helping pay for college.

Andrew is a sophomore at Woodinville High School. He has already created about 10 apps available for download at the Palm store.

This whiz kid has been writing HTML since he was 10.

"It started when I was 10 years old," he said. "We first got our dog and I just loved Pug so much that I created my first Web site called clubpug."

At 13 he was creating his own games to put on his Texas Instrument calculator, then making them available for download on his Web site TI Wizard.

The Wall Street Journal even called him for an interview.

Now at 15, Andrew gets paid per download. He pulls in a few thousand dollars every month for college.

He may be a computer crackerjack, but he has med school in his sights.

"I love creating programs, but I also want to help people," he said.

Her mom's biggest concern is that Andrew spends too much time on bytes and binary codes, and not enough on being a kid.

Great to see a feel-good story! Wow, what happened to lemonade stands? Props to this brave, new generation!

What a heart warming story. With all the bad news, this is nice to see and nice to see he has such good values, (becoming a Doctor and helping people).

Good story but the best part is where the reporter changed him into a girl in the last paragraph. [ " Her mom's biggest concern " ].
