The search for Seattle's new police chief is now down to two.

KING 5 has learned the new chief will not be Frank Milstead, Chief of Police of Mesa, Arizona.

The remaining candidates are Kathleen O'Toole, 60, a former Boston Police Commission and currently an international police consultant, and Robert Lehner, 58, Chief of Police in Elk Grove, California.

The new chief will be announced Monday morning at 10 a.m.

KING 5's Linda Byron will have the very first interview with the new chief on Monday on KING 5 News.
