Police in Bonney Lake are asking for the public’s help in identifying a possible suspect in a string of package thefts in Bonney Lake.

The thefts occurred between Nov. 20 and Nov. 26.  The packages were taken from porches after being dropped off by UPS, Fed Ex, and USPS during daytime hours.

A surveillance video was turned over to detectives that showed a possible suspect.  The suspect is a white male in his mid to late 30's, wearing a tan hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and brown shoes.  The suspect has short brown hair and a goatee.

Police say the man is seen placing a package on the front porch of a Bonney Lake home, then leaving in a mid 90s green over gray Jeep Cherokee.  The package left by the suspect was reported stolen from another address earlier in the day.  It is believed the suspect was not satisfied with the contents of the package and decided to dispose of it at this particular home.

The suspect vehicle has been seen in the area of other reported package thefts and by a UPS Driver.  It has also been reported that the suspect vehicle is occupied by a white female riding in the passenger seat.

If you have any suspect knowledge that could assist in this investigation, you are asked to contact the Bonney Lake Police Department at 253-863-2218.
