On June 26 2009, then 10-year-old Lindsey left a friend's house, headed for home in McCleary, but she never made it.

Grays Harbor County Sheriff Rick Scott says the Baum case haunts him. He hopes an age-progressed photo could help solve the now four-year-old mystery.

"We know there's information out there that would be beneficial to us. We're hoping this photograph will generate interest in the case maybe people will come forward who had been reluctant to do so in the past,” he said

"She very well could look like this and again she may look nothing like this, the whole point is she doesn't look like she did four years ago,” said Lindey’s mother Melissa.

Melissa Baum is confident her daughter is alive. She says it's a hope that can't be dashed, no matter how much time passes.

“I will never give up on Lindsey,” she said.
