Spicy Grilled Dungeness Crab
 
Spicy Dungeness Crab
Makes 4 servings
 

4 each
Whole Dungeness crabs 2 pounds or bigger if available
4 cups
Spicy crab sauce (see recipe below)

 
Instructions:
Clean the crab thoroughly and crack each section of the legs and claws. This will ensure that the marinade gets to all of the meat. Marinate the crab overnight for the best results. 
 
Put the crab with the marinade in a pan in the oven set on low broil for five minutes or grill it on the barbeque turning the pieces as they cook to avoid burning.
 
 
Spicy Crab Sauce
Makes 4 cups
 

1 ½ cup
Mae Ploy (Thai sweet chili sauce)
1 ½ cup
Olive oil
2 ½ Tbsp
Chopped garlic
2 ½ Tbsp
Chopped shallots
6 Tbsp
White balsamic vinegar
1 ½ Tbsp
Soy sauce
1 ½ Tbsp
Ground white pepper

 
Instructions:
Whip all ingredients together by hand until well incorporated. Store refrigerated until needed.
