Small steps, like getting active or changing the way you eat, can go a long way to help control or prevent Type 2 Diabetes. The YMCA of Greater Seattle has an incredible program aimed at helping people do just that. It's part of a partnership between the YMCA and UnitedHealthcare called "Diabetes Prevention and Control Alliance." Wendy Bart, Vice President of Membership, Marketing and Communications for YMCA of Greater Seattle, joined Margaret to share more about what the yearlong program offers. Dave Murphy, who took part in the Y's Diabetes Prevention Program, shared his experience.

To learn whether you're at risk for developing Type 2 diabetes, take this assessment quiz.
