Today some of the biggest dangers to kids are online, from cyber bullying to sexting and internet addiction. Expert Researcher Dr. Megan Moreno from Seattle Children’s just wrote a new book called “Sex, Drugs ‘n Facebook”. It is a guide to help parents keep teens and tweens safe in this digital era. Dr. Moreno visits New Day to discuss helpful tactics to keep kids safe online.

Dr. Moreno will be doing a special event called “Using Social Media to Save Lives” on Oct. 2nd from 5:30-7:30pm at the West 8th building in South Lake Union.  In partnership with Geekwire and Seattle Children’s Research Institute, Dr. Moreno will present her findings, followed by a conversation with GeekWire columnist Monica Guzman.
