When it comes to dental health, it's essential to develop good habits even before the first tooth comes in. Starting early will help ensure our children continue practicing good oral health well into adulthood. The Mighty Mouth campaign raises awareness about the importance of oral health, presenting valuable tips, guidelines and other resources to keep your mouth fit. The campaign is funded by Washington Dental Service Foundation. Dentist and Washington Dental Service Foundation Chair, Dr. Eve Rutherford, joined Margaret to talk more about the importance of caring for children's teeth and teaching good dental habits from a young age.

During the segment, we shared some of the many photos sent in by New Day viewers, showcasing their little ones' smiles. We received so many photos, we've created a special album at the New Day Facebook page to feature all of the photos you sent in. We'd also like to thank New Day Chief Photographer/Editor Toby and his wife Corine for sharing video of their baby Flynn enjoying having his teeth brushed!
