Hazel Strickon of Wilsonart and Co-Chair of ZeroLandfill Seattle and Julie Lin from To Market Environmental Flooring and Board Member of the International inerior Design Association joined Margaret to promote ZeroLandfill's upcoming "Upcycling" event, where people can come and take away all kinds of unused materials donated by interior design and architectural firms. They showed a sampling of materials donated (mismatched pieces of fabric, broken tiles, etc.), as well as several pieces of art created by those who took part in last year's event, including a designer dress!

This year's ZeroLandfill Upcycling event takes place Saturday (11:00am - 6:00pm) and Sunday (10:00am - 1:00pm), September 28 and 29 at Miller Community Center in Seattle (330 19th Avene East). The event is FREE to the public.
