The 2nd annual Iron Vintner Challenge is under way at Willows Lodge in Woodinville. Emceed by Chef Bobby Moore of the Barking Frog Restaurant and similar to Iron Chef, this event pits top Washington winemakers against each other in a culinary competition for the title of "Iron Vintner".
The Championship round of the Iron Vintner Challenge takes place on Wed, June 22, from 5:30-7:00pm at Willows Lodge. Tickets are $35 and includes tastes from both winemaker finalists, Gorman Winery and DeLille Cellars.
On June 29, all four competing winemakers will be part of a special 4-course dinner created by Chef Moore at the Barking Frog Restaurant. Tickets are $135 per person and benefits Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center in Woodinville.
