We’re on the brink of a nice long weekend, and our favorite holiday, which means it’s time for our favorite gal about town, Nancy Guppy, to share her picks for your weekend entertainment calendar!

The Paradise Theatre School in Chimacum, in Port Townsend presents Rosebud: The Lives of Orson Welles, an award-winning solo performance piece, about the artistic genius, Orson Welles. Runs November 29th thru December 15th @ West of Lenin in Fremont.
Mature themes: high school and up.
 
The Women Painters of Washington, an organization that was founded in 1930, has a terrific traveling exhibition entitled “Celebration” running November 17th thru December 27th @ Schack Art Center in Everett.
 
Gage Academy of Fine Art presents their 13th annual “Drawing Jam” on Saturday, December 1st from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. It’s basically a big ‘ol art party for the whole family! Adults are $10, teenagers and kids get in free.
 
Brent Amaker and the Rodeo play a Thanksgiving Eve show at The Triple Door Wednesday, November 21st.
 
The Wandering Goose restaurant, owned by Heather Earnhardt, specializes in southern-influenced food. DELICIOUS!
