The 4th annual “Conscious Culture Festival”-- the ultimate celebration of music, art, education, equality sustainability and all around conscious living--takes place June 21-23 @ in Tonasket, Washington.
Interstitial Theatre curates video and new media art created by artists from all around the world, then screens it at art venues around town on their custom-made “art gallery on wheels”. Next appearance is June 13th @ ArtsWest in West Seattle.
Honk! Fest West, a free for all marching band, is partnering with the Solstice Parade and the Seattle Art Museum for their biggest event in Honk! Fest West history! Performances take place June 21-23 in numerous areas around town, including the annual Fremont Solstice Parade.
Photographer LaRae Lobdell unveils “Celebration” her 16-month photography project to capture the people, both on and off stage, or make up Seattle’s local theatre scene. Opens June 20th and runs thru October 17th @ ACT.
Celebrate Father’s Day with “Dear Dad”, a live reading of letters between fathers and sons. Four local actors will give voice to the personal correspondence of such luminaries as John F. Kennedy, Jackson Pollock and Ronald Reagan. Two performances only: Sunday, June 16th @ 2:00 and 7:00.
