We've met some incredible people here on New Day through the Make-A-Wish program.
Renae Goettel, is no different. She overcame a number of serious illnesses to succeed in a variety of areas, including graduating from college, getting a job with an NBA team and running a marathon. She also happens to be legally blind.
Renae joined Margaret to talk about her unique approach to life, why former NBA star Sean Elliott inspires her so much and about the upcoming Walk for Wishes, benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Alaska and Washington.
The Fifth Annual Walk for Wishes takes place on Sunday, September 23rd at Marymoor Park in Redmond.
