Since 1966, workers and volunteers of the USO Northwest have been helping service members and military families in Western Washington. Their center at Sea-Tac airport is the busiest in the US, serving more than 125,000 military personnel every year. Nearly all of this is done with volunteer help and support from the community. USO Northwest is excited to build a new, larger space at Sea-Tac airport, enabling them to help even more service members and families. But they need more help to reach a major milestone that is just around the corner. Executive Director of USO Northwest, Donald Leingang, and Manager of the center at Sea-Tac, Bill Baker join New Day to talk more about their efforts to improve the community.
