School starts this week for some kids - and next week for almost everyone else, and with the new school year comes brand new concerns about online and social media safety.

The Washington state U.S. Attorney's Office is launching a campaign to help parents and children learn the keys to keeping predators from taking advantage of curious and friendly young minds.

U.S. Attorney Jenny Durkan joined Margaret to talk about the campaign - and why it's even more important for parents to be connected with their children online as well as offline.

For more information about the safety campaign, visit the US Attorney's Office website by clicking here.

U.S. Attorney Durkan also recommends the website Netsmartz, which is run by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.  Visit the site by clicking here.
