Weekend activities:

Seattle Aquarium: “Picturing Science”

The exhibit is 14 large format prints of photographs of fishes on aluminum plate, each accompanied by a poem inspired by the image. The photographer, Dr. Adam Summers, teaches at the UW and was a scientific consultant on “Finding Nemo”.

Runs thru Spring 2014.


Linda Hodges Gallery:  “Suburbia: Dream or Nightmare?”

This group show features 13 artists, all interpreting the concept of Suburbia thru paintings, photographs and sculpture.

Runs thru December 28th.


Bellevue Arts Museum:  “A World of Paper, A World of Fashion: Isabelle de Borchgrave Meets Mariano Fortuny”

Belgian artist Isabelle de Borchgrave creates exquisite, life-size historical costumes and fabrics entirely out of paper.

Christmas Cookies from Bev Harris, Nancy’s Mom

My mom makes Christmas cookies every year and I’d love to have her wheel a cart out at the end of the segment with cookies for the audience—80 plastic baggies with 4 cookies and the attached recipes.
