UPS was founded in Seattle in the early 1900s. As the company expanded into other states, the fleet changed from Model Ts to box trucks. Now, those brown UPS trucks are recognizable around the globe and you can find a UPS store in just about any city.

Even though the UPS brand is global, each UPS store is locally owned and operated, giving customers the security of UPS' reputation, along with the personal service of a "mom and pop" store. John Russell, owner of The UPS Store in Stanwood, joined Margaret to talk more about the many ways they can help. He also shared exciting news about The UPS Store's "Thank You Days," running September 1 through 15 at every store in Western Washington. Visit your local store for discounts and special offers. You can also sign up to win a pair of VIP tickets to an upcoming Seattle Sounders FC game (not the Seahawks, as Margaret and John mentioned on the show). You can also win a $500 VISA gift card or a $100 gift card to The UPS Store.

Bally Sohal, owner of several UPS stores in the greater Seattle area, also made a brief appearance on this segment. You'll meet Bally again in upcoming segments featuring The UPS Store. In the meantime, check out one of his stores in Renton by clicking here.
