Justina Chen went from being a speechwriter to the president of entertainment at Microsoft, to writing successful young adult novels. Among the most popular of her books are: “North of Beautiful”, about the pressure on teens to achieve physical perfection. And “Return to Me”, a story of family betrayal and young people trying to find their own voices. Her newest book isn’t for teens but for adults, and stems from her own painful experience at the sudden end of a marriage. “What Now: Survival Guide for the Blindsided and brokenhearted”, details what to do in the first thirty days after an unforeseen heartbreak. Justina joins New Day to talk about her career.
