It's a painful topic to talk about, especially for those whose lives have been shattered by the suicide of a loved one. Jennifer Stuber's husband, Matt Adler, took his own life a year ago this week, after battling depression and increasing anxiety. She decided to share her family's story, in hopes of helping others understand just how suicide affects those who are left behind. In understanding lies the hope of easing the stigma surrounding the mental illness that can push someone to taking their own life.

Jennifer and Margaret were joined by Sue Eastgard, founder of the Youth Suicide Prevention Program. Together, they shared Matt's story, risk factors and imminent warning signs that someone may be suicidal, and what to do if you feel someone you love is at risk.
