Since being founded 60 years ago, Seattle’s Museum of History and Industry or MOHAI has grown to become the largest heritage museum in Washington State. Next week the museum opens in a beautiful new home, which used to be the Naval Reserve Armory on Lake Union. Film Critic, Robert Horton, is organizing the first exhibit in the special exhibitions gallery, called “Celluloid Seattle”, and he has a sneak preview of what’s in store!
The public grand opening for the new MOHAI at Lake Union Park will kick off on December 29th from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Admission is free that day but you do have to reserve tickets for timed entries.
