As much as we hate to admit it, summer is coming to an end and the rainy season is already moving in. Whether it's flooding, or home fires due to the change in the weather, it's always good to be prepared for the worst. September is National Preparedness Month so David Shannon from the American Red Cross shows us what we need in an emergency.
Tips and disaster kits are available at www.seattleredcross.org. Starting Sept. 11, Red Cross volunteers will be at Fred Meyer stores on Saturdays during the month of September to answer questions and hand out materials to help you prepare for any kind of disaster or emergency.
