Emily Asher's Garden Party, a Brooklyn-based band with a heart for Seattle, returns to the Northwest to perform "Lazy Bones," originally performed by Hoagy Carmichael. Led by University of Washington graduate trombonist and vocalist Emily Asher, Emily Asher's Garden Party draws upon the repertoire of Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington and the funky melodies of New Orleans brass bands.  The rest of the band consists of drummer Jay Lepley and trumpeter Mike Davis, both Roosevelt High School graduates, along with Tom Abbott (clarinet), Nick Russo (guitar), Dalton Ridenhour (piano), Rob Adkins (bass/vocals) and Sean Cronin (bass/vocals).

They will be performing at The Triple Door on Tuesday, January 14 at 7:30pm.
