Described as the love child of Dusty Springfield and Nancy Sinatra with a splash of The Ronettes, V. Contreras has been taking the world by storm. Her inagural EP, Burn, was released in December 2013 and quickly garnered attention from the industry and the Seattle music scene alike, referring to V. as a pioneer in sound and the next Seattle act to break. Victoria, who goes by V., writes all of her songs and most recently, her song "Feelin' That" became a semifinalist in the International Song Writing contest.

Today (April 15th) she celebrates the release of her debut, self-titled, feature-length album. The album can be purchased HERE.

V. stopped by the show today to perform the song "Burn" with the Passenger String Orchestra and Jeff Fielder.

V. Contreras will do a special performance for Record Store Day on Saturday, April 19th at 1:30pm at Silver Platters in Sodo. Find more info about the event HERE.
