We’re looking ahead to Veterans Day on the 11th, and to those who are owed such gratitude. There’s a museum in downtown Seattle dedicated to local service men and women, educating future generations about the sacrifices and victories of troops from Western Washington. The Seattle Veterans Museum opened a decade ago and is run by 2 military veterans and a band of volunteers. So with Veterans Day on Monday, we were honored to introduce one of the museum’s co-founders, Todd Crooks! Todd, a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy Reserve, shared his own military experiences and stories about some of the exhibits he brought with him.

The Seattle Veterans Museum will be open all weekend and Monday, November 12, to commemorate Veterans Day. After that, the museum's future is unclear. This all-volunteer group needs a new space and help with finances.
