A new report that was released earlier this month found that 15 million babies are born prematurely each year worldwide.  In addition to that, an analysis shows that the rate of premature babies born in the U.S. is higher than the global average.

Jennifer Sinconis is a local mom who gave birth to identical twin boys at just 24 weeks after having to have an emergency C-section.  Dr. Craig Rubens is the head of the Global Alliance to Prevent Prematurity and Stillbirth (GAPPS) at Seattle Children's.
