A special event this weekend will bring lovers of water sports together for exhibits, contests, music and fun. The Scuba and H2O Adventure Show features a number of companies, as well as the opportunityto win everything from a vacation to Fiji, to a motor scooter all while helping a local non-profit.
Event organizer Selene Muldowney Mike Mulder, singer/songwriter from the band Memphis Rain, joined Margaret to talk about the show and why they've chosen the Burned Children Recovery Foundation as the beneficiary.
The 2014 Scuba & H2O Adventure Show takes place Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, April 6 at Pier 91, Smith Cove in downtown Seattle. Times: 10:00am - 5:00pm Saturday, 10:00am - 4:00pm Sunday.
Memphis Rain will perform at a special Happy Hour Fun-Raising event on Saturday, April 5 at 4:00pm, where people can buy $5 raffle tickets for the chance to win a scooter. 100% of raffle ticket sales will benefit the Burned Children Recovery Foundation, a non-profit both Selene and Mike are passionate about supporting.
