A cool trend picking up speed in the foodie world is the popularity of "Pop-Up" restaurants. They're temporary restaurants that show up in different locations for a very short time, and news of their existence usually travels via social media or word-of-mouth.
On April 1st, Queen Anne's cozy neighborhood restaurant, Lloyd Martin, is transforming into a pop-up tapas restaurant for one night only. Owner and chef, Sam Crannell give's us a little taste of what to expect from this new trend. Sam Crannell will also make fried dates with blue cheese, bacon and sherry vinegar and popcorn with candy floss.
Experience Lloyd Martin's pop-up restaurant as they become "Diversión" for one night only, on April 1st, 2013. Doors open at 4:00pm.
Visit the Lloyd Martin website for more information on chef Sam Crannell or his restaurant.
