Don’t we all wish we could snap our fingers and look 10 pounds thinner? Well, today we got our chance! Our stylist, Darcy Camden, and nutritionist, Deborah Enos, were on the show today with some tips that make us look lean and fit!
Flat Belly Tip #1: Beware of Carbonated Drinks.
The fizz in carbonated drinks (even diet ones) can cause gas to get trapped in your belly and intestines. Drink water with some citrus added, squeeze of lemon or lime.

Flat Belly Tip #2 Skip the Gum.
Often, while chewing on a stick of gum, you can swallow quite a bit of air. Extra air in your intestines can cause bloating.

Flat Belly Tip #3: Put Down the Salt Shaker.
Excess sodium can cause water retention. The more processed the food the bigger the chance that the food will be high in sodium. Read your labels! Most physicians recommend that you limit your daily sodium consumption to 1,500 to 2,300 mg of sodium per day. Surprise: 1 tsp of salt is 2,300 mg of sodium.

Flat Belly Tip #4: Go Easy with Beans and Gassy Vegetables (but only for short periods of time, because they are so good for you!)
If you're not used to eating beans, they can cause that gassy feeling-as can cruciferous family of vegetables, such as broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and cauliflower.
But don’t give up on these super-nutritious, high-fiber vegetables! If you have to fit into your skinny jeans, fine, skip them for one day. But most physicians, nutritionists and other health care professionals will want you to include at least a couple of servings of these foods, daily.

Flat Belly Tip #5: Include a Few Anti-Bloating Foods and Drinks.
I did find a couple of articles and studies that suggest that some of the following foods may help to reduce bloating:
· peppermint tea
· yogurts (due to their good bacteria)
Skinny Jeans Anti-bloat Drink
- Cranberry juice: 1/2 cup
- lemon juice: (about ¼ of a lemon, or about a Tbs.)
- water: 1 cup
Fill up your Blender Bottle with about ½ cup of ice. Add all the ingredients, shake and enjoy!

Tip #1: Wear proper foundation. First things first, you have to have proper fitting foundation wear. The correct bra will not only help your clothes fit better, it will help improve your posture (standing up straight always makes you look taller and leaner). Slips, Spanx and shape wear can shrink you a full dress size and smooth out imperfections.
Tip #2: Wear a belt. It may seem counter-intuitive to add a belt if you're feeling bloated (do you really want to draw attention to your waist? The answer is Yes!). Adding a belt at your high waist (approx three fingers under your bust) will bisect you in the most flattering way, emphasizing the smallest part of your center and making your legs appear longer.
Tip #3: Wear color strategically. Remember a golden rule of style: color and pattern draw attention, while dark neutrals do not. If you want to camouflage your thighs and backside, wear black pants or a dark jean and draw attention up to your face with a bright top or necklace (conversely, if you want to de-emphasize your chest or belly, wear a black or dark navy top, with brightly colored pants or shoes).
Tip #4: Add a heel. Adding a 2-3" heel will instantly make you appear 10-15 pounds thinner by literally elevating your stature. If the thought of wearing a stiletto makes you cringe, look for a wedge heel to offer height with maximum comfort. BONUS: standing in a wedge heel also shifts your center of gravity, making it harder for you to slouch while you are standing up
