Last week, the New Day crew kicked off their quest to Get Fit on New Day and invited viewers to join in on this quest. No matter what your fitness level is, everyone can benefit from an exercise that's actually a martial art! It's called Tai Chi.

Tai Chi combines slow, fluid movements with controlled breathing for a workout that's both beautiful and beneficial. Tai Chi instructor Viola Brumbaugh from Wise Orchid Martial Arts joined Margaret  to share the history and healing benefits of Tai Chi. Viola and several of her students then led Margaret, BJ Shea and Steve the Producer from the BJ Shea Morning Experience on KISW 99.9FM, and New Day Producers Kate and Su in a simple but effective Tai Chi routine. Audience members also joined in with the arm movements.
