Two theatre festivals are opening in July:
Intiman Theatre presents four plays that will run in rotation: “Romeo and Juliet”, “Hedda Gabler”, “Dirty Story”, and “Miracle”, all performed by an ensemble of 17 local actors. July 5th thru August 26th. www.intiman.org
ACT presents the Pinter Festival featuring a slate of plays written by the late great Nobel Prize winning playwright, Harold Pinter; “The Dumb Waiter”, “Celebration”, “No Mans Land”, and “Old Times”. Bellevue Arts Museum presents a beautiful show, “Bold Expressions: African American Quilts from the Collection of Corrine Riley, running now thru October 7th. www.bellevuearts.org
The Capitol Hill Block Party takes over the Pike/Pine Corridor for 3 days in July. Lots of great local talent in the mix including Allen Stone, Fly Moon Royalty, Kris Orlowski, and Pony Time.

“Between Heaven and Hell: Underground, Alternative and Urban Artists Take on Comics, Superheroes and Super-villains” runs two nights this summer-- during the Greenwood Gallery Walk--at Urban Light Studios.
