Sea-Tac Airport is becoming an even hipper place, thanks to a collaboration that celebrates the Northwest music scene. The initiative called Experience the City of Music brightens the traveler's experience by featuring the music and voices of local musicians - both emerging and established - throughout the airport.
Electro-soul duo Fly Moon Royalty perform "Piece of Me" to offer a preview of one of the new artists featured.
The launch party for the Sea-Tac Airport Music Initiative is this Saturday, Jan. 28, from 3-7pm at Sea-Tac's Gina Marie Lindsey Arrivals Hall, which is at the south end baggage claim area before security. The free event features live performances by Seattle artists:
- 3pm - Recess Monkey
- 4pm - Carrie Clark & the Lonesome Lovers
- 5pm - Fly Moon Royalty
- 6pm - The Dusty 45's
