Every year, KING 5 teams up with Northwest Harvest to help stock the shelves at food banks across the state to give families in need a helping hand, especially around the holidays. KING 5 viewers have always stepped up with food and cash donations.
This year, New Day is asking audience members and guests to take part in a special quest - to help kick off our Home Team Harvest event by filling the fountain in the KING 5 lobby throughout the month of November!
Northwest Harvest's Executive Director Shelley Rotondo and Community Engagement Director Deborah Squires joined Meeghan to talk about the growing number of famlies in need, and to show us just how far our donations can go.
