Seattle Prep standout Martell Webster, who went from high school right into the NBA (drafted #6 overall in 2005) is coming off a stellar season with the Washington Wizards and has just signed a new contract with the team. Although he's been away from his hometown for years, playing for the Portland Trailblazers, Minnesota Timberwolves and the Wizards, he regularly returns to his hometown, conducting basketball clinics and other events.

Martell and his wife Courtney joined Margaret to talk about their passion for family - the inspiration behind their Family Fun Day this Saturday, August 10 at Seattle Center. The theme for the event is "Superheroes" - with a free showing of the movie "The Avengers" closing out a day of fun activities and entertainment for the entire family. When asked how the "Superheroes" theme came up, Martell paid homage to his wife and all mothers, calling them the superheroes who keep families together. He also reminded parents that they **are** the superheroes in their chidlren's lives. The segment closed with a visit from a real superhero: Flash Gordon (whose mild-mannered alter-ego is Huston Conti, Martell's best friend and Executive Director of the Martell Webster Foundation)

Family Fun Day is free and runs from 3:00 pm - Sundown at Seattle Center. For more information, please click here.
