A longtime local favorite who rose to fame in the 90's with his band Harvey Danger is out with his first solo album. Sean Nelson and Harvey Danger gained notoriety with hit songs like "Flagpole Sitta", "Save it for Later" and "Sad Sweetheart of the Rodeo". Harvey Danger disbanded, but Sean's career continued to flourish, with projects and partnerships with various artists.

Sean just released his first solo album MAKE GOOD CHOICES. It's chock full of songs and guest musicians like Peter Buck from REM and Chris Walla from Death Cab for Cutie.

Sean and his band performed the title track "Make Good Choices," then joined Suzie and Jim to talk about the album (which is also available on vinyl!) and how his experiences have helped shape him as a performer.

Sean and his band will perform at a record release show on  Wednesday, June 26 at Neumos in Seattle. The show begins at 8:00 pm.  Please click here for more information and to buy tickets.
