With hurricane Katrina and then the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, residents of this country's gulf coast have had a calamitous past few years.
A group of local filmmakers is now hoping to bring continued awareness to the area with a new documentary film called Storm Surge.
This August, Stacy Noland led a three-man crew to the gulf coast to investigate the environmental, economic, and social problems that people are facing, and he came away with some surprising and important material.
