Condiments are one of those food staples that are often overlooked as just extras to add for flavor to a meal. However, even ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard can add extra chemicals and sugar. But it doesn’t have to be that way. “The Kitchen Pantry cookbook” is the first book from chef and cooking instructor, Erin Coopey, of The Glorified Homechef. In it she shares recipes for nearly one hundred condiments and party essentials made from scratch. Erin joins New Day Northwest to explain and show how to make a delicious and much used staple for barbeque season.
Join Erin at a book release party on Wed. August 7th, from 5-7pm at PCC in West Seattle (2749 California Ave W). The event is free and open to the public.
