In recent years, boys have fallen behind in many areas of development. The repercussions that hurt both families and communities have made it a topic that needs attention. How can we prepare boys for success; in academics, in relationships and for the overall good of society?

Dr. Gregory Jantz, author of "Raising Boys by Design," joined host Margaret Larson on the show today.

Dr. Jantz will be leading the Helping Boys Thrive Summit, a one day event that brings professionals, parents, educators, and community stakeholders in just this task. This is the first of its kind in our community, one that brings together a national pioneer in the field of boys' development with local pioneers helping boys, young men, and families. The summit will be held on May 24th at the Edmond's Center for the Arts.
