It's been a year since little Braden and Charlie Powell died at the hands of their father. And their mother Susan is still missing, more than three years after she vanished from their Utah home. Josh Powell was long considered a "person of interest" in his wife's disappearance. Susan's parents have been lobbying for a law to help protect other children from Braden and Charlie's tragic fate. The boys' parents (Susan's parents) Judy and Chuck Cox joined Margaret, along with family attorney Anne Bremner, to tell us more about their fight to protect other children.

To learn more about the Cox's efforts, please visit the website for the Susan Cox Powell Foundation by clicking here.

As they mentioned during the segment, neighbors have taken over the property where Braden and Charlie died. They plan to turn the land into a memorial park. Donations for the project are being accepted at any BECU branch.
