A change in season means lots of new colors and foliage to choose from for fall plant containers. Ciscoe came in today to help us design a terrific outdoor pot!

If you are interested in any of the plants seen on the show here is a complete list of what was shown:

 

Center piece:

Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'blue surprise': A conifer with steel blue

foliage and upright shape.

 

Fillers:

Euphorbia 'Blackbird: Velvety foliage darkens to almost black in full-sun.

Libertia ixiodes 'Goldfinger'

Heuchera' Obsidian': Coral bell with almost black foliage.

Heucherella 'Sweet Tea': Brilliant orange colored leaves.

Heather (Culluna vulgaris) 'Wickwar Flame' Orange winter color.

Pansies

 

Spiller:

Plumbago (Ceratostigma) ground cover. Sky blue flowers.

 

Special Note:

Work in a good organic flower food before planting.
